Is Planning The New Procrastination?

 I am Guilty, Guilty and Guilty!

The other day I was texting with a friend. She was telling me about her vision board and all that she was planning to do. I in turn was telling her about my Spanish lessons and how much I was learning. Nothing wrong with that right?  After all we were advancing ourselves and doing important, creative and positive stuff with our lives.  

Yes, but what we later admitted was that we were avoiding our exercise by doing these other activities. Having that realization we headed off to workout. I know I felt better as I always do after working out and the weight of avoiding my workout was lifted. 

Don't get me wrong, planning your day or your life is very important. It provides a sense of order and comfort. However, being the master planner that I am, I am all too familiar with the fact that the best laid plans are nothing unless you take action.

  1. Okay, I'm guilty!! Didn't think I would be, but lately in my exercise department, been putting off and claiming excuse after excuse. I just need that one day where I get out and do it because I know how good I'll feel afterwards.
