I love carrot cake. Love it, especially if it has raisins. Also, I have found that even though you cannot replace all of your sweet tasting foods while watching your waist you can make similar tasting treats with smoothies. Below you will find my take on this beloved treat #dariyfree and full of carrot goodness!
Options:
- Now you know I like all my smoothies green with either spinach or kale so that is an option or you can leave it out and be enticed by the beautiful orange color.
- I added
toppings to make the smoothie look appealing. My smoothie was garnished with toasted shaved coconut and shredded carrots. Toddler Girl's smoothieswas topped with just a few chocolate sprinkles did the trick for her. Making this treat Toddler Approved!
